US Springfield 45 70 Model 1878 #233507 built in 1884 appears to be all original including leather sling. 32" barrel with shinny bore and good rifling, fully functional action with top load single shot in very good condition. Fully adjustable rear sight, bayonet and scabbard are in great condition., complete with cleaning rod. Metal finish is free from pitting or rust and has been well cared for, wood furniture has handling and compression marks but shows good for original.
